Street Tap

The game to learn Melbourne's streets: 5 daily challenges on the city map.

Tired of needing Google Maps to get around your own city? Street Tap is for that.

Learn your city's street names by playing

Every day, Street Tap asks you 5 questions about Melbourne's streets: a corner or an address. You tap the map where you think it is and score points by how close you land. A perfect day is 1000 points. It is a daily game, Wordle-style: the challenge is the same for everyone and changes at midnight, Melbourne time.

A game about your city

From the Hoddle Grid to the bay, from Brunswick to Brighton, Melbourne is learned one corner at a time. It is free, runs in the browser and there is nothing to install.

From the laneways to the suburbs

The questions start in the CBD, where Flinders, Collins, Bourke and Lonsdale Streets cross Swanston and Elizabeth Streets, and spread out to the inner suburbs and the bayside. Play a little every day and the map starts to feel familiar.
